Shipping communications group Marlink has signed two deals in just a few days that will extend its services to vessels requiring significant amounts of data exchange over satellites.
Marlink said it has signed a multi-year, multi-million-euro deal with Luxembourg-based satellite group SES to access its next-generation medium earth orbit (MEO) constellation.
Earlier this week, UK-based low earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications company OneWeb and very small aperture terminal (VSAT) communications leader Marlink said they are joining forces.
