London-based shipowner Lomar Shipping is to work with Houston tech start-up Alicia Bots to boost its hull maintenance operations.
The company said the collaboration on robotic hull cleaning will redefine sustainability in the sector.
The deal will integrate Alicia Bots’ robotics work with Lomar’s own biofouling control practices, as well as testing new uses.
