Lloyd’s Register Foundation has awarded Seoul National University with a £4 million ($5.2 million) grant to finance further maritime safety research.
The grant will fund the university’s College of Engineering faculty and their research over the next five years which will concentrate on three specific areas where evidence gaps need to be addressed to drive the development of standards and safer operations.
