Shipowners remain unfazed by cleantech companies’ constant boasts of energy and fuel savings, according to a new report from Norwegian class society DNV.
Despite growing regulatory pressures adoption of cleantech solutions is still low, the risk and assurance body said.
Only 7.9% of the global fleet has an energy-saving device or system installed, it said.
