Japanese shipbuilder and engine maker Kawasaki Heavy Industries has admitted to fixing emissions data on its two-stroke marine engines
It is the third company to have put its hands up to data manipulation. Last month Hitachi Zosen admitted to data manipulation and before that IHI.
After the first two revelations, the Japanese government demanded all of the country’s engine makers to examine their data and report back.
