Two leading providers of exhaust gas scrubbers are to merge in a deal which will see the John Fredriksen-controlled tanker giant Frontline holding a major stake in the combined business.
Clean Marine, led by the former Klaveness director Nils Hoy-Petersen, is to merge with FMSI, the former Feen Marine scrubber builder in which Frontline has a 30% stake.
