Early digital decarbonisation adopters are reaping the benefits of cutting ship emissions by 18% or more, according to a report by maritime innovation consultancy Thetius.
Millions fewer tons of greenhouse gases are being released from existing ships conducting the same amount of work, according to the report, “The Optimal Route – The Why and How of Digital Decarbonisation in Shipping”, which was sponsored by the Inmarsat Research Programme.
