Danish pump maker DESMI said on Tuesday it will not succumb to a blackmail by hackers who attacked its IT systems last week.
The cyber attack took place on the night of 9 April, as TradeWinds reported. The hackers demanded money to allow recovery of stolen data, the company revealed on 14 April.
“Under no circumstances” will we pay a ransom, DESMI chief executive Henrik Sorensen said in a statement.
