Clean Marine, the scrubber maker backed by Frontline and Navig8, claims to have installed a hybrid scrubber in 30 days.
The work was carried out at Singapore’s Keppel Shipyard and saw the device fitted to Dorian LPG’s 84,000-cbm Cratis (built 2015).
“During the hybrid scrubber retrofit installation, the vessel underwent a five-year Classification survey cycle and all typical maintenance works, including full hull painting, ensuring the most cost-efficient result for all project stakeholders,” said Clean Marine chief operating officer Svein Ole Strommen.
