Yilport Holdings has continued its port facility expansion drive with the purchase of Solventas Technical Storage, the largest liquids terminal in Turkey.
The subsidiary of Turkey's Yildirim Group said the deal is part of the effort to become a top-10 port operator by 2025.
A spokesman for the company declined to state the purchase price.
The facility in Kocaeli Province becomes the 23rd port in Yilport's network but its first facility dedicated to liquids, though the agreement is subject to approval by the Turkish Competition Authority.
