The company has paid $6m for a 2,521-gt ship built in China in 2012.
It said the vessel has been re-named Sidra Al Wakra.
The only ship that fits the criteria is the 3,450-dwt Feng Xiang, owned by Ningbo FTZ Cosnavi. The IMO number also matches.
Woqod has two bitumen carriers currently and signed a deal with Qatar's government this year to provide 130,000 tonnes for projects running until 2019.
