Wilmar Ship Holdings has taken delivery of the final vessel in a series of four super-eco MR2-type chemical/product tankers.
The 49,100-dwt Theresa Lima was delivered to the shipowning arm of Singapore-headquartered agricultural commodities giant Wilmar International by China’s Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu Ship Industry Co this month. The other three vessels were delivered earlier this year.
Wilmar International is one of the world’s largest palm oil producers, and Wilmar Ship Holdings, together with ship management subsidiary Raffles Shipping Group, controls a fleet of close to 100 product/chemical tankers and bulk carriers, most of which are directly owned.
