An estranged former partner in Connecticut tanker brokerage Dietze & Associates has formally withdrawn a $1.38m lawsuit over alleged failure to pay his retirement package.
No details of the settlement leading to the withdrawal have been disclosed in Connecticut Superior Court documents, and lawyers for plaintiff David McCann and for Dietze have not responded to repeated queries from Tradewinds.
While the withdrawal settles a bit of negative publicity for Dietze, it also raises the question of what may be next for the firm.
