Data from Connecticut shipbroker Charles Weber puts the TD3 eastbound trade at WorldScale (WS) 67.5 Tuesday, up from WS 62 at the end of last week.
UK broker Howe Robinson Partners estimates the rate at WS 65 Tuesday, which equates to $66,400 per day. The London outfit assessed the TD3 at $60,600 per day on Friday.
“The Middle East Gulf continues to rally, with a steady flow of cargoes and a shorter tonnage list fuelling owners’ bullish sentiment,” the brokerage said in a daily report.
