Crude oil tanker owners might be showing confidence, but their ships are still having a rough go of it.
Over the course of the week, the Baltic Dirty Tanker Index slid 10 points to 520, finishing flat week-over-week led by the sector's largest class.
"The market remains soft on VLCCs worldwide despite a relatively firm sentiment being displayed by many owners," shipbroker Howe Robinson said in its weekly report.
