VLCCs continued their free fall this week, while suezmaxes and aframaxes appear to have found some stability.
The largest tankers finished the week at about $32,600 per day, according to the Baltic Exchange’s VLCC time charter equivalent assessment. That is down nearly $27,000 over the last week and $42,800 from the year-to-date high on 21 November, with anemic fixtures reported out of the Middle East.
