Two tankers carrying oil for Vitol have been caught up in a row between Sudan and South Sudan.
Shipping sources told Reuters that the vessels were seized by Sudan earlier this month in a dispute over pipeline fees.
Both ships are expected to be freed within days, however.
The newly formed South Sudan shut down oil production over the weekend in protest over its neighbour seizing shipments in the row over how much the landlocked southern country should pay to pump oil to Port Sudan in the north.
