Viken Shipping is set to sell three LR2 tankers to an undisclosed buyer.
Viken chairman Hans Olav Lindal confirmed the ships are set to be sold and that they will be replaced on their charter to oil major Total with newbuildings.
European broking sources said the Bergen-based company is in the process of selling the 115,000-dwt Telleviken, Tofteviken (both built 2005) and Troviken (built 2006) for about $48m to $49m in total.
