A small elderly Vietnamese-owned chemical tanker has been arrested in Singapore, latest court documents show.
The 6,700-dwt Viet Tin Lucky (built 1996) was detained by the local admiralty sheriff on the orders of law firm Oon & Bazul on Saturday.
According to the admiralty sheriff’s office the vessel is currently moored off Singapore’s ALAGS anchorage just off Jurong Island
The exact details as to why the ship has been arrested remain unclear, but it is likely to be related to outstanding payments for services.
