The Viet Trust Shipping-owned 6,693-dwt Viet Tin Lucky (built 1996) was arrested on Wednesday lunchtime.
AIS data shows the ship presently moored off the coast of Singapore’s Changi Airport in position 01° 32.12'N, 104° 06.96'E.
Court documents show that the Vietnamese-flagged vessel was arrested on the instructions of local law firm Incise Law.
The ship is the eighth vessel to be arrested in Singapore since the first week of October in what is possibly a reflection of weaker market conditions.
