Indian mining and metals group Vedanta Resources is in the market for a tanker on long-term charter.
The London-listed company's Tuticorin unit Vedanta Limited has tendered for a ship to carry phosphoric acid and sulphuric acid.
The vessel must be between 5,000 dwt and 15,000 dwt and aged below 20 years.
Vedanta Resources was founded in Mumbai in 1976 by chairman Anil Agarwal.
