Rates for product tankers sailing to the US Gulf Coast from the European continent saw the second day of gains as a second hurricane approaches the region this week.
Hurricane Laura is expected to hit the coasts of Texas and Louisiana full-force by late Wednesday before heading inland and turning toward the East Coast.
The first storm, Hurricane Marco, reached the mouth of the Mississippi River on Monday night as a tropical storm, according to the US National Hurricane Center.
