US crude production is expected to hit record levels in 2023 and 2024 in a boost to the prospects for the largest oil tankers.
The US Energy Information Administration said it expected production to hit 12.8m barrels a day in 2023 and 13.1m in 2024, an increase on its previous predictions. It also represents an increase from fewer than 12m barrels a day in 2022.
