An Omani national, a crude tanker and a handful of companies under his control have landed on the US blacklist over allegations of trading oil for the benefit of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The US Department of the Treasury said Mahmood Rashid Amur Al Habsi used a network including the 299,986-dwt Oman Pride (built 1998) and its Dubai registered owner, Bravery Maritime.
