Hong Kong's Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings has revealed a big jump in its managed fleet as it signalled an intent to order dual-fuel vessels.
Co-managing director William Fairclough said in a company newsletter that last year saw the shipowner formulate its strategy for future fleet development.
He added that Wah Kwong "came close to concluding our first dual-fuel newbuilding project in collaboration with business partners who are as committed to building the next generation of environmentally friendly ships as we are".
