Uniper has shipped large quantities of IMO 2020 compliant bunker fuel to Asia, a top company executive has confirmed.
It is said to have imported 1m barrels of low sulphur fuel into Singapore, according to Uniper Energy managing director Chris Wood, reports Bloomberg.
The German energy company says cargo destined for Asia will go into floating storage in Singapore for delivery to buyers.
