UK-based shipowner Union Maritime continues to be a very active player in the sale-and-purchase market with the sale of two MR tankers just a couple of weeks after buying two aframax tankers from the former fleet of Brightoil Petroleum.
European brokers said Union Maritime has sold the STX-built, 51,000-dwt Chase and Lincoln (both built 2004) to an undisclosed buyer for $11m each.
