Uni-Tankers has ended the fiscal year 2016/2017 with red ink on its books but is still moving forward with its new strategy plan.
The Danish tanker owner reported a net loss of DKK 61m ($9.3m), compared to earnings of DKK 82m a year earlier.
Rising oil prices and lower freight rates made it impossible for Uni-Tankers to match last year’s result, the company explained.
