Local shipping circles are ripe with talk that True North Chartering is in the process of putting together a desk focused on projects and the sale-and-purchase (S&P) market.
It’s unclear if the firm’s principals intend to build the division from scratch or plan on courting personnel from one of its many competitors.
While the S&P space is stagnant by industry standards observers note there are still deals to be had and believe the tides could turn by the time the desk is up and running- if it pulls the trigger.
