Transpetrol has offloaded a pair of MR product carriers to Union Maritime amid a fleet renewal drive.
The Belgian tanker owner has sold the 46,000-dwt Reliance II and Advance II (both built 2006) for $14m each, reportedly to the UK-based peer, market sources said.
The vessels, which were constructed at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding, have been renamed Picton and Westmore following the off-market deal.
