Trading giant Trafigura has named the first of its 35 new tankers being built in Korea and China - and revealed it can buy them all further down the line.
The series of suezmaxes, LR2s and MRs has been ordered by its Chinese financial partner Bank of Communications Financial Leasing (BoCom FL) and leased to the company.
Trafigura said it has options to purchase the ships at a later date.
