Torm has taken its spending on new tankers past $350m in the past year with the purchase of three medium range newbuildings.
The Danish owner will use cash from a $100m equity issue and debt from KfW and ABN AMRO to support the latest deal.
Torm is paying $93m for the trio at Guangzhou Shipyard International, it told investors today.
