Pool player Tankers International (TI) and John Fredriksen’s Frontline Management have abandoned their joint marketing arrangement on VLCCs after more than three-and-a-half years working together in the large tanker sector.
Shipbrokers told TradeWinds that the two VLCC giants announced their split in an industry circular late on Wednesday, saying they will “suspend the marketing of their respective VLCC fleets through VLCC Chartering” as their fleets undergo changes.
