While things have been quiet around the Strait of Hormuz lately, don't expect it to stay that way after the new year.
A recent report from US think tank the Center for a New American Security said that the most likely scenario for an escalation of tensions in the strait would be the sort of attacks on tankers and oil facilities that shook shipping earlier this year.
