Teekay Tankers boss Kevin Mackay believes it is still too early to make any firm predictions about the impact of the Ukraine crisis on tanker markets, but big changes could lie ahead.
The chief executive told a conference call: “It’s obviously very fluid and it’s only a few hours old.”
But he added there had been an immediate reaction in spot markets, which have risen as cargo owners scrambled to ensure supply.
