Major tanker and gas carrier owner Kuwait Oil Tanker Co (KOTC) has said it is monitoring the Red Sea security situation on a daily basis.
State news agency KUNA cited the company as saying it is also taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of its fleet.
But the owner did not state it was avoiding the region entirely.
