Orjan Svanevik is leaving the Fredriksen group five weeks after he took up a senior executive post.
The former Aker man was appointed chief operating officer of Seatankers in September.
Director Mads Langaard in Seatankers says there is disagreement over strategic positioning and an agreement over Svanevik's departure has been reached.
Svanevik started with the group in a director's position in 2014 and says it has been a pleasure working there.
