MISC Berhad has reported a strong finish to its 2022 financial year.
The Kuala Lumpur-based shipping giant attributed its success in its fourth quarter to higher margins on freight rates for its tanker division, coupled with higher construction gains from an FPSO conversion in its offshore business segment.
MISC said that its group operating profit for the quarter ended 31 December 2022 of MYR 1.09bn
