A suspected stroke saw a young crewman airlifted to hospital from a German tanker off the US on Thursday.



The 22-year-old had to be rescued from the 40,600-dwt Seacod (built 2006) off the coast of North Carolina yesterday evening, a statement from the US Coast Guard (USCG) read.
