Plans for further expansion of its new Singapore petrochemical terminal were announced today as Stolt-Nielsen formally opened the SGD 350m ($270m) facility.

The chemical shipping group has comissioned the terminal at Tembusu on Jurong Island with three gas holding spheres but plans to build up capacity to 300,000-cbm of storage over the next two or three years.

Stolt-Nielsen is an integrated chemical logistics group.
