Tanker giant Sovcomflot (SCF Group) has locked two medium range vessels acquired as part of its takeover of the Prisco fleet into time charters.
Novatek has taken the 50,000-dwt SCF Don (Ex:Prisco Elizaveta) and SCF Irtysh (Ex:Prisco Elena, both built 2009), brokers say.
A rate of $13,750 per day has been paid for the firm six-month period, according to Clarksons Research, with a six month option priced at $14,000 per day.
