Russian shipping giant Sovcomflot (SCF Group) appears to have found a buyer for the Tsuneishi-built 106,000-dwt tanker Petropavlovsk (built 2002).
According to European brokers the ship went to an undisclosed buyer for about $13.8m, which is in line with expectations. It is not due for special survey until September 2022.
Sovcomflot bought the tanker as a resale for $42.5m in May 2001.
