South Korea is working on reforms and initiatives for the oil industry that will allow it to play a greater role in regional oil trading.
Government bureaucrats in Seoul have recently approved legislation that would allow oil trading companies to blend fuels in bonded areas at the country’s oil terminals, thus removing restrictions that previously limited blending activities to Korean refiners alone.
