Mohammad Souri the long term chairman of Iranian tanker owner NITC has drawn a line under a 26 year career with the company and is retiring.

He relinquishes the helm of NITC this week with Dr Hamid Behbahani named as successor.

Souri says his successor has “demonstrated outstanding levels of competence in various management areas.”

There is a Dr Behbahani who is an Iranian academic and former transport minister but he is already 76 and it is unclear if he is the new NITC chief.
