Owners of small chemical/product tankers trading in the Middle East are getting good value out of older tonnage on the secondhand market.
Tanker sources in Dubai said that the high values these ships are enjoying have nothing to do with the dark trades. They are in demand for shipping small consignments of refined petroleum products around the region and to East Africa.
