Norwegian tanker owner I M Skaugen has clinched a bond issue at the lower end of a recently-announced scale.



Oslo-quoted Skaugen has bagged NOK 350m ($63.14m) in the unsecured bond issue, the owner announced in a bourse statement on Monday.

Last week Skaugen said it was contemplating the issue with an eye on up to $70m but no less than $60m.



Last week the Norwegian wrote: “An approximately equal amount of debt in IMSK08 with maturity in July 2011 and IMSK 05 with maturity in September 2011 will be repurchased.
