Singapore is set to launch a biofuels pilot project as it looks to boost its capabilities on the maritime environment and bio-energy front.
Mining giant BHP and GoodFuels Marine, supported by Singapore's Maritime Port Authority (MPA), have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to collaborate on the project.
“We are pleased to facilitate discussions on the biofuels front along with our partners, BHP and GoodFuels,” said MPA chief executive Andrew tan.
