Moscow is hopeful of completing a listing of state-backed shipowner Sovcomflot this year, a leading political figure says.
First deputy prime minister Igor Shuvalov, a former chairman of the shipowner, told reporters today Sovcomflot and oil producer Bashneft were the next companies in line for privatisation, Reuters reports.
It follows a sale of just over one tenth of diamond miner Alrosa as Russia looks to top up national finances hit by declining energy prices.
