The bunker supplier has asked a federal judge in Galveston to arrest the 107,000-dwt tanker Amba Bhavanee (built 2003) at the port of Freeport, Texas while it pursues a claim related to fuel, lubricants and services provided to nine of the operator’s vessels this year and last.
In addition to the aframax, the company and its affiliates claim they are owed cash from transactions involving the 106,000-dwt tanker Amba Bhakti (built 1997), 16,300-hp anchor-handling tug supply vessel Suchandra (built 2009) and six LPG carriers.
