John Fredriksen-backed Ship Finance International has no immediate plans to dispose of its remaining eight VLCCs, even though they have an average age of 15 years and the tycoon has highlighted his otherwise modern fleet.
The Norwegian billionaire says his main tanker company, New York and Oslo-listed Frontline, has the most modern fleet in the world, but sister company Ship Finance plans to keep its older vessels for the time being.
